Ensuring 100% of contributions go to debt reduction, never to personal accounts.

Step 1-Verification Audit
"We verify every applicant directly with federal servicers (e.g., MOHELA) to ensure the debt is real and active."
Step 2-Escrow Deposit
"Donations enter a restricted escrow account, legally separated from our operating funds to ensure 100% integrity."
Step 3-Zero-Touch Allocation
"The student never touches the money. Funds are routed strictly from escrow to the lender, preventing misuse."
Step 4-Direct Service Pay
"We pay the loan servicer directly via wire transfer, applying the full grant to the principal balance."

"TECHNICAL TRANSPARENCY PROTOCOLS"

Our vetting process goes beyond simple ID checks. We require applicants to submit a current “10-Day Payoff Statement” generated directly from their loan servicer (e.g., Nelnet, Navient, MOHELA). We cross-reference the Loan Account Number and Servicer Remittance Address against our verified database of federal lenders. If the data does not match the official Federal Student Aid (FSA) records, the application is flagged for manual review.

To ensure financial integrity, all donations are routed through a restricted Escrow Account. This account is legally segregated from the organization’s operating capital. This means 100% of the funds in this specific account are restricted for the sole purpose of debt repayment. We utilize [Your Bank Name or “Tier 1 Banking Partners”] to maintain these accounts, which are subject to quarterly third-party audits.

Our security model is built on a “Zero-Touch” policy. We have removed the capability for funds to be routed to personal checking or savings accounts. Our payment system is hard-coded to only allow outbound transfers to verified Loan Servicer routing numbers. This creates a closed-loop system where money can only move from Donor  TO Escrow TO Lender.

Payments are executed via ACH or Wire Transfer directly to the servicer. Along with the payment, we submit a “Remittance Advice” document detailing exactly which student account number the funds should be applied to. We request that the servicer apply the payment to the Principal Balance first (where applicable by law) to maximize the long-term impact of the donation.
